Ps Mastering Photoshops Layers
Posted on 21. Apr, 2009 by Che McPherson in beginner, photoshop
In this tutorial I will show you everything from naming layers to organizing large documents. I will also show you how to use blend modes, masks and fx. Ive left adjustment layers as I feel they are worthy of a tutorial of there own
This is great for beginners but i think you pro’s also will benefit from brushing up on some of the advanced features of the layers palette.
Sorry in advance the tutorial is a little long at 20 mins but I hope you all leave with something from the tut.
As always I love feedback so feel free to hit me…

Just wanted to say thanks for all your tuts! I really appreciate you taking the time and especially going back to the basics with this one.
As a beginner I’ve spent a lot of time (tutorials, practice, etc…) trying to find my way around Photoshop… and was still struggling to get a grip for some reason or another.
Then I found your site searching for tuts and after watching your videos I felt like I won the Lottery or something!
I’ve made more progress after watching your videos than i have in the past year combined!
Feel free to email me anytime and if you ever decide to do a full blown course on Photoshop i would buy it in a heartbeat!!!
Thanks again…
wow HUGE thanks Jason… this is the reason I do this so I’m stoked to hear it has helped…
This is really good people very exciting course, refueling in support of you! !
